we all want the same things

we all need the same things

because we want to succeed

and in the case of drink

we do it because we failed

or because we won

which is why we can’t escape it

some are better than others

but vices they are nevertheless

so in the end

all humans lie

all humans “drink”

all humans regret

knowing that makes the world a little less daunting

and it makes it a bit harder to hate each other.
